Earlier today, Governor Abbott released the list of ‘Purple Star Campus’ designations that “recognizes Texas public schools for their exceptional commitment to supporting and meeting the unique needs of military-connected students and their families.”  We are proud to report that Lampasas Middle School is one of ONLY 150 schools in Texas that received this recognition.

Our military-connected students account for nearly 1/3 rd of our student population and over the past two years we have put measures in place to provide further support to our military-connected students and families and the unique hurdles they face. Our Campus Military Liaison, Mrs. Jera Freeman, has been integral in this process which benefits our students, families, school, and community. We are proud for you LMS and for your help in achieving this recognition.
